About Stephanie, Head Coach & Nutritionist
Stephanie Trevino, MBA, PHR, is the owner of Strength of Body and Mind, LLC (SBM), a professional consultancy dedicated to providing overall wellness in all aspects of life – personal, professional, and familial. At SBM, Stephanie combines her passion for helping others with her expertise to transform individuals and families into stronger, healthier, and more vibrant beings.
After competing in the Texas NPC for several years, Stephanie earned her IFBB pro card in 2016. Over the past four years, she has grown a team of more than 100 athletes, boasting six additional IFBB pros with many more in the making. Aside from professional bodybuilding, Stephanie provides tailored nutrition and wellness programs to hundreds of additional clients, ranging from CrossFit athletes and professional MMA fighters to first responders, teachers, moms and dads.
Her written health and wellness contributions have been published in local and national publications, online and in various podcasts. She is a successful fitness model with photography featured on every platform of print and online media.
Stephanie holds a Masters of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University and is a certified trainer licensed through the HR Certification Institute. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Psychology and continues to grow her business and team in the world of health, wellness, sports and bodybuilding. She is a certified CrossFit L1 Trainer, nutritionist, and mental coach.

SBM founder and Life Coach Stephanie Trevino is a certified trainer licensed through the Human Resources Certification Institute. She is a certified mental coach, nutritionist, and CrossFit Trainer. Nutritionist and Martial Art Instructor
Robert Ezzell has been an athlete and health and fitness enthusiast for most of his life. It began early on in school playing football and running track. After graduation, he found a home in martial arts, beginning with muy thai, mma and jiu jitsu. He has been practicing and competing in martial arts for over a decade. Robert has taught kids and adults and recently expanded to teaching at multiple schools. Over the years he has acquired many skills and certifications, which include personal training, strength and conditioning and most recently nutrition. Through a hybrid of martial arts background and personal nutrition experience with dieting techniques his goal is to teach sustainability and life long changes. His nutrition experience includes ketogenic diets, low carb/high protein, Intermittent Fasting among other types of plans. I would describe myself as an active, busy body with strong faith in Christ that enjoys a good challenge, working to impact youth in our community, and definitely someone who loves to eat. I struggled with my weight from college through my adult life. I was a repeat “victim” at Weight Watchers and got really good at regaining every pound I would lose…and adding on a few extra for a challenge. I used to play Women’s Full Tackle Football. I retired in 2013 from playing with the Houston Power due to injuries. It was a sport I truly loved because it thrived on the challenge of working as a team, strength, and strategy to accomplish the goal of winning. It was a good sport that helped me maintain a good weight, but was rough on the body. After retiring I called myself taking time off to recover from my knee and shoulder injuries. I remember feeling lost without football. There was a void in my active lifestyle that I didn’t know how to fill. So I got acquainted with my couch and every fast food drive thru near my home. I felt depressed, didn’t move much, slept a lot, and ate lots of meals in the car. Over the next year I ballooned to my highest weight ever of 270 lbs. The active person in me was not satisfied and was a constant voice in my head that I needed to get up and get moving.
In January 2015, I found the best trainer in Houston, Hassan Davis, which had records of success with getting people to lose weight and has recently coached competitive bodybuilders to reach pro card level. He worked at an awesome gym, Mo City Fitness Gym, where I was able to meet like-minded people striving for fitness goals. The motivation in the air at that gym was like fuel. My trainer works in conjunction with an awesome Nutritionist, Stephanie Trevino. Hassan and Stephanie believe that you have to eat clean and workout right to get results. They are the owners and Head Coaches of Team SBM, Strength of Body and Mind. They have built a team of Coaches that are helping our team reach their competitive bodybuilding, fitness, and weight loss goals. With Team SBM, I found the aspect of team that I thrived on. I learned that in order to reach my goal it was a process and I had to “trust that process”.
I am glad I trusted the process. I lost over 110 lbs from my heaviest weight. My journey is not over yet as I plan to continue my prep and compete in the Women’s Physique division. I feel blessed to have found Team SBM. I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to my Trainer, Coach Hassan Davis, my Nutritionist Coach Nishala Stewart and to Coach Stephanie Trevino for her oversight and guidance. I am thankful for the support of my awesome team, Team SBM for their never-ending inspiration and motivation. My fitness journey has led me to a team that is more like a family full of inspiration, motivation, and support. I am looking forward to continuing my journey to the next challenge of gracing the stage as a Women’s Physique Competitor.
